| Trained as a PhD in experimental genetics at TU Munich (final grade “summa cum laude”) I gathered 18 years of experience in the life sciences industry at various academic and commercial leadership positions. I co-founded the academic startup amcure out of a Technology Transfer Office and had the steep leaning curve in transforming an early-stage drug development project from the first academic concept to a clinical stage company in oncology. During this time I gathered insight into founding and developing startup companies in the life science industry, as well as in fundraising from private investors and public grants. As the company evolved I built up in depth knowledge in working with external service providers, especially for the development of CMC procedures and IMP supply chains. During my professional career I deepened my understanding in leading teams and companies at different sizes (1-400 FTE, 0 to 8-digit revenue), as well as in project, finance, and IP management. |
